The Programme Manager for Maths will support the Deputy Director of Skills Development & Lifelong Learning in providing inspirational leadership of the maths programmes within the department of English and Maths.You will support their growth, development and planning; ensure the progress and achievement of students; and the effective deployment and performance of staff.
The post holder will help to develop the curriculum plan to ensure it is future focused, cost effective, responsive to labour market information and LEP priorities, in order to meet the needs of students and employers. You will be expected to support in leading and encouraging innovation in curriculum design and delivery to ensure that students are inspired, engaged and prepared for the world of work.
The successful candidate will lead and manage inspiring teaching, learning and assessment opportunities across the curriculum area.
You should hold a Teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCEor equivalent) along with a Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject.
You will be able to demonstrate recent teaching experience in a relevant curriculum area and evidence of successful programme/curriculum/resource management and leadership.

We are looking for EFL lecturers who are interested in teaching over the summer and specifically for any length of time between 15 June and 8 September.
Candidates must be at least CELTA qualified (or hold an equivalentqualification) and ideally have some previous experience of teaching. Abilityor willingness to teach Young Learners (12 - 15 year olds) and willingness totake part in social activities would be a distinct advantage.
We pay an hourly rate of GBP GBP 20.00 for lecturers and the usual minimum number of hours is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30 - 13.00, although more hours may be available.

The College has an opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Supported Learning team at St John's College, Cambridge in their catering department. The successful candidate will provide teaching, learning, assessment and support to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities who are on a programme focused on catering and hospitality. The post holder will work closely with the partners to ensure high quality expectations and standards for the students are promoted, ensuring inclusivity and progression into employment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience within a hospitality and catering provision, and experience of working with young people with special educational needs and learning difficulties/disabilities. An appropriate professional qualification in food cookery and basic food hygiene is a must as is the ability to communicate at all levels. Ideally we are looking for a lecturer who has achieved a teaching qualification, or have a willingness to undertake teacher training.

Key tasks include general supervision of both the sports centre and commercial gym ensuring equipment and facilities are used correctly and safely and the safe set up and dismantling of sports equipment, taking exercise classes and carrying out gym inductions to staff, students and members of the public. You will also be required to undertake front of house and administrative duties to include use of booking systems and cash register.
You will hold a Level 2 gym qualification, an up to date First Aid certificate and a minimum of two exercise class qualifications. You will also need to have had recent experience working within a Health and Fitness environment. Experience of climbing wall activities would be an advantage although training would be provided.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and confident Lecturer to deliver high quality teaching and learning within the Faculty of Construction and Motor Vehicle at our Huntingdon campus.
This exciting role will involve the design and delivery of Electrical Installations and associated courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Faculty, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the post.
The successful candidate will need to be vocationally qualified to at least NVQ 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations, and be able to demonstrate in depth subject knowledge. Although previous teaching experience is preferable, consideration will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of commitment to move their career to the Further Education sector.

We are seeking someone with great data and admin skills to join the quality team.Your role will include providing user-friendly data to support quality improvement at CRC, running our survey system, establishing and managing records, working with others to develop existing processes further and managing the admin requirements of a busy quality office.
You should be able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience of working in a general Engineering environment including preparing workshop areas and ensuring that resources are in the right place and at the right time. Being able to monitor progress, set targets, assess and maintain accurate learner assessment records are also key responsibilities of the role
You will need to be vocationally qualified to at least NVQ 3 or City and Guilds Part 2 in General Engineering or possess equivalent qualifications in order to be considered for this role.
Experience of a similar role within Further Education would be advantageous.
Reporting to the Work based learning Manager, you will be required to enrol candidates in line with College procedures and maintain accurate records for candidates in both written and computer-generated database formats.
It is essential that you possess relevant Level 3 plumbing and gas qualifications and be able to demonstrate a wide range of experiences within related industries.
Although prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous, full training would be available to a high calibre candidate who can demonstrate a commitment to the post.
Qualifications or experience within other construction or engineering fields would be beneficial, although not essential.
